  • Cognitive linguistics: figurativity in thought and language, blending theory, cognitive grammar, construction grammar, linguistic creativity, linguistic relativity

  • Socio-cognitive linguistics: situated social meaning, verbal humour, discourse and cognitive science
  • Phraseology: the phrasal lexicon, idiom semantics, idiom variation and variability

  • Interpersonal pragmatics and interactional sociolinguistics: Relational work, language and conflict
