Boris Vejdovsky is a senior lecturer of American literature and studies at the University of Lausanne, where he has been teaching since 1997.picture

His current research interests include the writings of Ernest Hemingway, the forms of the American West, and representations of death in U.S literature.

His academic services and activities include: officer of the Swiss Association for North American Studies, board member of the European Association of American Studies, Chair of the International Committee of the American Studies Association and general editor of Transatlantic Aesthetics and Culture.
