Birds and contemporary poetics. Exploring the bird poetry of Seamus Heaney, Kathleen Jamie, Don Paterson, Ted Hughes, Alice Oswald, Peter Reading, Michael Longley, Helen MacDonald, and other British and Irish writers, this project concerns the relation between humans and the natural environment and, at the same time, a poet’s relation to language in our times.
