Since 2021, Christiania has taught the following 2nd- and 3rd-year BA courses at the Universities of Lausanne and Geneva:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Writing Medieval Women’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Arthurian Literature in the Middle Ages’ <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

‘Magic and Miracle: Sir Gawain and the Green Knight<\/em> and Pearl<\/em>‘<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Images of Early Medieval England in Romance and Hagiography’ <\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Space and the Environment in Medieval Literature’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2020, she has also co-taught a 1st-year BA lecture course, ‘Earlier Englishes’, at the University of Bern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has supervised and co-supervised various Masters m\u00e9moire theses at Lausanne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She taught Middle English literature extensively at the University of Warwick (1996-2016), also at the International University of Venice (2020, 2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doctoral Supervision<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christiania is currently co-supervising doctoral projects on ‘Robert of Knaresborough and the English Trinitarians’, and on ‘Mental Unity in the Writings of the Cloud<\/em>-author, Marguerite Por\u00eate and Walter Hilton’, in the English Department at the University of Lausanne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is co-supervising a doctoral project on ‘Discernment in the Textual Corpus of the Cloud<\/em>-Author’ at the University of Padua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While at Warwick, Christiania successfully supervised doctoral projects on the poetry of Guillaume Machaut (2010); ‘Animals Soundscapes in Anglo-Norman Texts’ (2019); ‘Cushions, Kitchens and Christ: Mapping the Domestic in Late Medieval Religious Writing’ (2019)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
