I visited both places as Visiting Scholar funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation [P2LAP1_155110; CHF 50,300; 2014-2015].<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">My research draws on insights and methods from Pragmatics, Interactional Linguistics and Multimodal Conversation Analysis to investigate<strong>\u00a0epistemic and argumentative stance-taking markers\u00a0<\/strong>in various multimodal corpora documenting different ordinary, professional, and institutional settings<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>(see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.unil.ch\/jeromejacquin\/research\/\">Research interests<\/a>\u00a0for more information).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In 2016, I have been awarded by the Swiss National Science Foundation for a <strong>3-year Ambizione project<\/strong> entitled &#8220;E-STAMP : Epistemic StanceTaking from a Multimodal Perspective&#8221; [PZ00P1_168033 ; CHF 421,317; 2017-2020].<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In 2019, I have been awarded by the Swiss National Science Foundation for a <strong>4-year Research project<\/strong> entitled &#8220;<em>Prendre une position \u00e9pist\u00e9mique dans l\u2019interaction. Les marqueurs du savoir, du non-savoir\u00a0et du doute en fran\u00e7ais<\/em>&#8221; [100012_188924; CHF 499,528; 2020-2024].<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">From 2007 to 2011, I participated in <strong>the<\/strong> <strong>European Integrated Project \u201cLanguage dynamics and management of diversity\u201d<\/strong> [FP6-028702] by analyzing the strategic dimension of code-switching in Swiss tertiary education institutions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Since 2011, I have\u00a0been <strong>the project leader of IMPACT<\/strong>, funded by the University of Lausanne [CHF 105,000]. The goal of IMPACT is to develop an <strong>easy-to-use web interface for consulting, transcribing and analysing audiovisual data<\/strong> (more information is available here: <a href=\"www.unil.ch\/impact\">www.unil.ch\/impact<\/a>).
