John Antonakis<\/strong>: John is Professor of Organizational Behavior in the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. His research is currently focused on the psychology of leadership including: Charisma, predictors of leadership (e.g., personality, intelligence), leader development, as well as on research methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has published articles in many prestigious journals including Science<\/em>, Nature Human Behavior<\/em>, Psychological Science<\/em>, Psychological Methods<\/em>, Academy of Management Journal<\/em>, Journal of Management<\/em>, Journal of Applied Psychology<\/em>, Journal of Operations Management<\/em>, Management Science<\/em>, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice<\/em>, and Harvard Business Review<\/em>, among many others; he has also published four books, and dozens of book chapters and conferences proceedings. He has received more than US$2.45 million in funding for his research. He teaches organizational behavior (Bachelor level), leadership (Master level), and causal analysis and statistics (Ph.D. level).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Antonakis is former Editor in Chief of The Leadership Quarterly<\/em>. He was previously associate editor for The Leadership Quarterly<\/em> and Organizational Research Methods<\/em>, and has served too on the editorial boards of several top journals in management and applied psychology. In 2019 he was named a highly cited scientist by Clarivate-Web of Science group. In 2020, 2021, and 2022 he was listed by PLOS Biology in the world\u2019s top 2% of scientists for career-long impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apart from his scientific contributions John is also a thought-provoking and inspiring speaker. He trains diverse audiences, in business, public administration, and international organizations. His work has been covered by very prestigious media outlets like New York Times<\/a>, The Wall Street Journal<\/a>, Financial Times<\/a>, The Guardian<\/a>, NEWSWEEK<\/a>, Daily Mail<\/a>, BBC News<\/a>, Forbes<\/a>, The New Yorker<\/a>, Business Insider<\/a>, Fast Company<\/a>, The Atlantic<\/a>, and many hundreds of other news sources, including TV (e.g., RTS<\/a> at 29:15) and Radio (e.g., PBS<\/a> first 20 mins).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He loves running, cycling, cross-country skiing, gardening cooking, and having fun! He loves his dog too, who is very smart; she was in Newsweek<\/a>!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
