for a Swiss National Science Foundation entitled “Coupled Inequalities. Trends and Welfare State Differences in the Role of Partner’s Socio-Economic Resources for Employment Careers” led by Prof. dr. Leen Vandecasteele
The candidate will have the opportunity to become a member of the Doctoral Programme of the NCCR LIVES ‘Overcoming vulnerability: life course perspectives’
Starting date: 01.10.2019
Duration of contract: 1 year, renewable for 3 years with a full duration of 4 years.

Your profile
– Master’s degree in Social Sciences with a quantitative component (Sociology, Demography, Economics, Political Science, Psychology… or similar degree)
– Interest in topics of social inequality, social policy, life course and family sociology/demography
– Practical experience with quantitative social science data analysis methods
– Familiarity with statistical software (e.g. Stata, R, SPSS)
– Working language is English
