Teaching

Regular Courses at UNIL

I teach regular courses in the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Lausanne. Since 2014, I have been teaching MA courses on Survey Research Methods and Questionnaire Design, and a practical seminar for BA students, providing an introduction to quantitative research methods called Measuring Social Attitudes (La mesure des attitudes sociales). I have also taught an MA course and practical seminar on the Social Psychology of Opinion Formation, the area in which I specialised during my doctoral training.

In collaboration with colleagues at the Haute école pédagogique (HEP) Vaud, I provide a further education short course as part of the ‘UNIL-EPFL Formation continue’ offer on Data Literacy, designed for school teachers and journalists.

Specialised Training

I provide ad hoc specialised training – Short courses, Workshops and Summer Schools – internationally on survey methodology and questionnaire design for early career researchers and other professionals, as well as data literacy training for school children in different age groups.

Courses are available in English and in French, in person and online. Please contact me if you are interested in organising a course.
