On replicability as another dimension of responsible research

In a recent post, I discussed the issue of responsible research (see “On responsible research”). I would like to add the issue of replicability of (scientific) findings which I believe should also be a hallmark of responsible research. Research replicability refers to the possibility for another researcher to replicate the results or findings of a research. In order for this to be possible, researchers should report the specific sources used for their measures. But it also requires that these sources (data) are available to other researchers.
